CONVERSATIONS WITH FRIENDS: KELLY WILSON

FRIENDS OF THEATRE NORTH

A Conversation with Kelly Wilson, artistic director of Adaptivity Theatre Company.

Originally from the western United States, Kelly Wilson is devoted to creating more direct links between audiences and the great classic writers, from Shakespeare to Sophocles.

Kelly has studied with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and the University of London – exploring new ways to immerse modern audiences in what can be foreign and complex worlds.

As the artistic director of Launceston’s Adaptivity Theatre Company, Kelly directed their 2019 production of Hamlet and their forthcoming production of Oedipus + Antigone in the Earl Arts Centre, this October.

The Friends of Theatre North look forward to welcoming you to another fascinating Conversation.
