The Princess Theatre Box Office, located in the Princess Theatre foyer on Brisbane Street, sells tickets to several events for both venues. Check with the company in residence, or on the event page, to find out how to purchase tickets.
Box Office: press 1 to book tickets or for any inquiries related to your booking.

While we do not have a designated car park, the City of Launceston Paterson Street East multi-storey car park is open Monday-Saturday 9am-midnight.
There are two 24/7 car parks in Earl Street, both with ticket machines that accept coins or card payment.
There are also limited spaces in Brisbane, George and York Streets and in Yorktown Square. Make sure you leave home early enough to find a parking spot nearby.
The City of Launceston refurbished the interior of the Princess Theatre with new flooring and plush seating in 2016. There are new accessible walkways and access seating areas in the stalls. Aside from our wheelchair positions, we also have a number of aisle seats with flexible armrests for easier access. Please ask our Box Office team for more information. There are no steps to negotiate in the downstairs auditorium (stalls) where the floor is raked. Upstairs in the circle, each row of seats is accessed by steps. We have a number of booster cushions which are available to help our younger patrons enjoy a better view - please ask our Front of House staff if you would like a booster cushion. Both the circle and stalls are air conditioned for your comfort.
The Princess Theatre auditorium has spaces for 18 wheelchairs. These spaces have been positioned in representative areas throughout the auditorium, including the centre block of Stalls Rows D and E. If you do require a wheelchair position, please make sure you advise us when you make your booking.
Any seats in Rows D and E not sold to wheelchair users two weeks before the performance date will be released to the rest of the general public.
Please note that seats in Row F may have a restricted view if access seats have been sold.
Walking frames may be used by patrons to help them to their seating, however they cannot be left in the aisles. Our ushers will store your walker and return it to you at the conclusion of the performance.
Access to main auditorium doors for wheelchair users is via a platform lift located near the box office. Please note that access to the circle is by stairs only.

Entry to the Earl Arts Centre auditorium is at ground level and wheelchair users can enter through the main door of the Earl Arts Centre to access ground level seating.
The front row of seats can be accessed without negotiating any steps. If you have concerns about using the steps up to the other seats please let us know at the Box Office when you purchase your ticket so we can organise a reserved seat at ground level for you. Please speak to the Front of House manager if you need any assistance on the day.

Theatre North is affiliated with the State Government’s Companion Card Program.
Pre-booked tickets can be collected from the box office at any time leading up to the performance, or on the day of as you arrive for the show.
If you need to collect tickets on the day of a show, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the show starts so you have plenty of time to collect your tickets and take your seats. The box office is open 1 hour prior to each performance.
During business hours, the box office is open from 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am - 1pm on Saturdays.
The administration offices are open 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

You must present your ticket to the usher at the door leading into the theatre.
Seats in the Princess Theatre CIRCLE are located upstairs. Seats in the Princess Theatre STALLS are located downstairs.
Once you are inside the theatre and usher will show you to your seat.
If you have a General Admission ticket, you may choose where you would like to sit when you enter the theatre.
If you have concerns about using the steps in the Earl Arts Centre, please advise when purchasing your ticket so a reserved seat at stage levelcan be organised for you. Please speak to the Front of House manager if you need any assistance on the day.
For some shows, babies are admitted for free, as long as they sit on your lap during the performance.
Each show has a "Babes in Arms" policy - please check the show information or ask at the Princess Theatre Box Office for details.
All Babes in Arms must still have a ticket to enter the theatre. This is a free ticket that is issued by the Box Office, so please make sure you collect your complimentary Babes in Arms ticket before entering the theatre.
Please ask if you would like a cushion for a small child who is sitting on their own seat.
For the safety and comfort of our patrons we do not permit prams, baby capsules, large bags or other bulky items inside the theatre.
We will happily store your items while you attend a performance but our storage space is very limited.
We appreciate your assistance by folding your pram or leaving your large items in your car or at home if possible.
Mobile phones must be switched off when you enter the theatre.
Switching your phone to silent mode is not permitted as incoming calls can interfere with sound equipment.
If you are expecting an urgent call please alert the Front of House Manager, who will be happy to make arrangements to monitor your phone for you while you enjoy the show.
Generally, no filming or photography is permitted in the theatre. Please check the policy for the event you are attending before using a camera.
There are both kiosk and bar facilities at the Princess Theatre (cash only).
The bar is located in the upstairs foyer. It is open one hour before the show starts, so you can arrive early, enjoy a drink and mingle with friends before the show.
Avoid the rush at interval - pre-order and pay for your interval drink at the bar before the show and collect it from the drinks station in the upstairs foyer at the start of interval. No need to queue at the bar!
You may take alcoholic drinks, purchased from our bar, inside the theatre, but we do not allow glass inside. Cans of beer or cider can be taken inside and we will serve your wine or premium beer in disposable drinkware if you would like to enjoy it during the show.
The kiosk is open up to an hour before performances, for you to purchase snacks to enjoy during the show.
Hot food and beverages are not permitted inside the theatre.

There are bar facilities at the Earl Arts Centre for selected shows.
Please enjoy your drinks inside - alcoholic drinks cannot be consumed outside the building. Hot food and beverages are not permitted inside the theatre.
Please arrive early to ensure you don’t miss a minute of the show.
Patrons arriving late to any performance cannot be admitted until a suitable break occurs in the show. The Front of House Manager will determine the suitable time of entry for latecomers.
Smoking is prohibited anywhere in the building and within 3m of doorways.
The Princess Theatre and Earl Arts Centre are both fitted with a hearing induction loop. Please ask our Front of House Manager for assistance if you would like to take advantage of this service.
Ladies and Gents toilets are located in the upper and lower foyers.
An ambulant toilet is located in the lower foyer near the box office.
Baby changing facilities are located in the ambulant toilet and also in the upstairs ladies toilets.
