A WEEKEND OF FABULOUS CHAMBER MUSIC
2019 sees the third installment of the Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival, introducing audiences to more of Northern Tasmania. The Festival returns to the exquisite Georgian village of Evandale and then moves through glorious countryside to Longford and Hagley. Another stop at the remarkable World heritage listed Brickendon Estate for the final gala concert will be a real highlight, as will lunch with the musicians overlooking the lake at Josef Chromy Vineyard.
Musically, there are well-known chamber works by Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Schubert and Brahms and more. The young award-winning Orava Quartet will dazzle on opening night with the captivating Greta Bradman. By popular demand cellist Umberto Clerici returns in a solo recital and with versatile pianist, Daniel de Borah. Daniel will also accompany Greta and play two wonderful Schubert Impromptus in our final Gala concert.
