7 DEADLY SINS

Graeme Murphy & Judith Wright - MADE

There is no sinner like an old sinner

7 Deadly Sins is part installation part performance. Evoking the sins of pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath and sloth, Graeme Murphy will bring to life Judith Wright's otherwise static, repugnant sculptures, in confronting proximity. Through dance, music and text the work questions corruption, truth and absolutes - exploring human secrets and desires from wanting too much, to vindictive anger, broken hearts, lies and betrayals.

Reviews
By making their bodies articulate, the women of MADE expand our notions of how older Australians might live, not simple how they might dance.
