The Great Hall
A grand space for events of all kinds
At the heart of the Albert Hall, the beautifully refurbished Great Hall brings together heritage, character and the capacity to create something memorable.
With more than 800 sqm of configurable floor space, a dedicated stage and purpose-designed lighting and sound, it can accommodate up to 950 people and is ready for everything from live performances and conferences to gala dinners, exhibitions and civic events.
Eastern Foyer
Where heritage meets City Park
Designed as a welcoming threshold between the Great Hall and City Park, the Eastern Foyer brings together heritage character, contemporary design and a strong connection to the surrounding parkland.
The Eastern Foyer can be hired independently or alongside the Great Hall, providing a distinctive space for launches, cocktail events, exhibitions and arts experiences.
Tamar Valley Room
A light-filled space for meetings and inspiration
Overlooking the treetops of City Park, the Tamar Valley Room offers a welcoming space for workshops, presentations, lectures, private events and professional gatherings. Contemporary in character, it brings together sweeping park views, integrated audiovisual technology and a dedicated breakout foyer.
With mobile bar and coffee service available, the room is well suited to board meetings, seminars, training sessions and private functions. It can also support Great Hall events as a green room, dressing room or breakout space for performers, speakers and event organisers.
John Duncan Room
A room that works for your event and makes space for more
With its warm character and practical functionality, the recently refreshed John Duncan Room offers a welcoming space for meetings, workshops, rehearsals, community gatherings and social events.
Integrated staging, audio-visual capability, a kitchenette and bar facilities support a range of event requirements. Hired independently or alongside the Great Hall, the room provides over 107 sqm of self-contained space that can accommodate additional event activities or support the smooth delivery of larger events.
