Opening night of the 2024 Launceston Ukulele Jamboree is party night! First up we have Paul Jonson (NZ) hosting a “Jamboree Allstars” set, with performances from some old friends from around Oz to kickstart our night o’ fun (Paul J, The Wild Women of Anywhere Beach, & The Ukes of Hazzard). Next up will be the ratbag ukulele band from NW Tas, “Don’t Tell Bruce” with their eclectic mix of tunes that are always crowd pleasers! Closing the night, and playing tunes from their new album “Distant Shores”, will be The Scotsman & The Stovies. Bring your best voices to sing along with these wonderful Celtic tunes presented by fabulous musicians who will delight you with their musicianship and three part harmonies! (Lyric sheets provided)

Our mates from Hobart, “Moonshine Whiskers & The Ragged Pony” will have you stomping your feet and wiggling in your seat with their mix of old timey tunes and folksy fun! Next up are Duplicity from Victoria who are firm favourites around the Australian and NZ Festival circuit - we’re blessed to have them returning to perform for us this year with their clever arrangements of jazz/blues/rock and pop songs.
Closing the night are our headline act from Victoria, Green Fieldz. Sally and Keith will have you on the edge of your seat with their high-energy, multi-instrumental performance! You’re in for a treat - this is a “not to be missed” show!
