A Musical Comedy
Starring the cream of Australia’s TV, Theatre and Comedy talent!
Following sold-out shows and overwhelming demand, the team behind last year’s hit The Grandparents Club return with an all-new stage adventure! Packed with new side-splitting laughs, catchy tunes, and cheeky, highly relatable characters and stories, The Grandparents Club 2 is a feel-good, one-of-a-kind celebration of grandparent life. All the fun of a holiday with friends from the comfort of your Theatre seat!
The 90-minute show touches on so many of the tricky, hilarious and heartfelt realities of our multi-generational family lives. Long-distance grandparenting, helicopter parents, fussy eaters, keeping tabs on all the after-school activities, teenage angst and navigating our own relationships… we understand each other! And yes, a little brag every now and then is definitely allowed! Audiences leave with smiles and a knowing wink that all that happens in The Grandparents Club, stays in The Grandparents Club.
Grands, Great Grands, Great Aunts, Great Uncles… you deserve this! You will leave this show feeling truly Grand!
Starring Lynne McGranger from Home and Away, Wayne Scott Kermond (Singing in the Rain, The Producers) Meredith O’Reilly (My Fair Lady directed by Dame Julie Andrews, The Addams Family) and Andrew James (The Buddy Holly Story). Also returning is Helpmann Award-winning Director Luke Joslin (Grease the Musical) and multi-award-winning Composer John Field. The Grandparents Club 2 is written by much-loved, multi-award-winning Australian writer, playwright and grandparent, Richard Tulloch.
