Launceston College is proud to announce that our 2022 Production will be the school edition of the musical “Rent”!!
Rent was the first musical that put ‘real life’ on stage - it’s a high energy, high stakes ride that celebrates the bohemian lifestyle of the West Village of New York City at the end of the millennium.
It is a story about love and endurance, with some of the most iconic songs of the past 20 years in musical theatre!! We can’t wait to bring it to life with our 2022 class of talented actors, singers, dancers, musicians and our amazing tech theatre and backstage crew.
Staggered Arrival times will be applied and details will be sent in a pre-show email 48 hours prior to performance.

Mask Wearing
Masks are no longer mandatory at the theatre, however we strongly encourage patrons to wear one.
Our staff will be wearing facemasks to assist in keeping them healthy and to keep the show on the road.
