GRAND EVENINGS POETRY: The British Verse Invasion (Part 2)

Cameron Hindrum and Michael Edgar return with another mesmerising evening of excellent poetry. The British Verse Invasion (Part 2) picks up where last year's Part 1 left off , examining the intriguing relationship between John Betjeman and Phillip Larkin, who both produced some of the most iconic and enduring poetry of their age. Their mutual admiration, their self-possession, Betjeman's embrace of the television age against Larkin's often-despairing old-school Englishness: it's the Grand Evenings sequel you never knew you needed.
