A former Tasmanian politician, Sarah currently sits on several boards and has a wealth of leadership, corporate governance and risk management expertise. Sarah is patron of the NTFA and also operates a boutique vineyard in the Tamar Valley.

Natalie De Vito, Vice President

Former Director of Launceston’s Junction Arts Festival; current PhD candidate and Sessional Lecturer at UTAS, Natalie held the position of President from 2018-2022. Originally from Toronto, Natalie has invaluable expertise in theatre and live arts performance spanning more than two decades and 20 countries. Her insight has been instrumental in developing Theatre North’s growth and vision for the coming years.

As the City of Launceston’s appointee to our Committee, Deputy Mayor Hugh McKenzie plays a key role in supporting Theatre North’s management of Launceston’s treasured cultural assets, the Princess Theatre and Earl Arts Centre. Further to his valuable contribution at Committee level where he offers expertise in finance and strategy, Hugh has been a hands-on member the Friends of Theatre North social committee.

Caitlin is the Artistic Director of Stompin – Australia’s longest running youth dance company. Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance (Performance) and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance (Honours). As well as our dedicated management, administration and technical team members, the Theatre North team comprises over 40 casual staff who work Backstage and Front of the House at the Princess Theatre and Earl Arts Centre.
On occasion, the team will also swing into action at other venues, such as the Albert Hall.
