Due to key personnel unfortunately being in isolation, Art Screen Events have had to take the sad decision to cancel the screening of The Dressmaker, scheduled for Tuesday 08 March at the Earl Arts Centre.

We recognise that this is short-notice and thank patrons for their understanding.

Refund arrangements:

We ask that all patrons make contact with the Princess Theatre Box Office from 10am tomorrow (Tue 08 Mar).  Monies can be refunded over the phone (6331 0052)  or at the counter.  Alternatively, please let our staff know via boxoffice@theatrenorth.com.au should you wish to leave your funds in credit for a future purchase at the Box Office.

Sue Maslin AO is one of Australia's most successful film, television and digital content producers with a track record of creating award winning feature and documentary films. One of her most recent is the smash hit The Dressmaker, starring Kate Winslet and Judy Davis. It grossed more than $20 million at the box office. In 2019, Sue was appointed as an Officer of the Order of Australia for her service to the Australian film industry.

Sue is also deeply involved in the industry’s efforts to achieve greater gender equality as a Patron of the organisation Women In Film and Television, and the former President of the Natalie Miller Fellowship, an organisation dedicated to inspiring leadership and increasing the participation of women in the screen industry.
