LES N' CLIVE: POETRY

GRAND EVENINGS POETRY

Michael Edgar and Cameron Hindrum join forces once again for an evening of insightful poetry. This time, the worlds of Twentieth Century Australian icons, Les Murray and Clive James.

In a (hopefully) cheeky afterword to his collection Injury Time, Clive James made the useful observation that "the average stacked shelf is not only more useful to society than a poem, it is actually superior as a work of art." Come and listen to Michael Edgar and Cameron Hindrum as they intertwine the lives of the Kogarah Kid with that of the Bard of Bunyah--and in doing so, prove that Clive is reasonably wrong on both counts!
