We wish to advise that the upcoming performance of  Swan Lake by The Royal Czech Ballet Company – scheduled for Sunday 4 September 2pm has had a timing change. 

“Due to the high level of production required for the Swan Lake performance by the Royal Czech Ballet, we have become aware that more time is needed for the set up for this performance. This means we need to set the start time of the performance from 2pm to 5pm.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and a full refund will be available for whom the rescheduled start time is unacceptable.” – The Royal Czech Ballet Company

The show will now take place at Sunday 4 September at 5pm.

We apologise for this inconvenience, and thank all patrons for their continued support. 

All current tickets are valid for the new performance time of 5pm 

Refunds are available until Tuesday 19 July 2022.

Citing the recent conflict in Ukraine, the promoter has decided that the scheduled Swan Lake performance by the Imperial Russian Ballet Company should not proceed.   

The Imperial Russian Ballet Company have toured Australia with both traditional and contemporary ballet for the past 17 years, interrupted only by the COVID-19 pandemic.

 Instead, Swan Lake will still be performed on by the Royal Czech Ballet featuring dancers from Ukraine, Moldova and Europe. 

Tickets already purchased for the Imperial Russian Ballet Company performances will be valid for the Royal Czech Ballet performance or a full refund is available.

The Royal Czech Ballet will visit Australia for the first time with Swan Lake...the most loved classical ballet of them all.

This masterpiece ballet is presented in two acts and follows the original storyline with traditional choreographic revisions by Marius Pepita.

Swan Lake is the love story of Prince Siegfried who falls in love with the Odette.  Odette is under a spell, where she is a swan by day, who turns into a woman at night. The spell can only be broken by a man who will pledge is love forever.  It is a story where the virtues of love and forgiveness in the end conquer evil and betrayal.

The Royal Czech Ballet features elite dancers from European countries of France, Italy, Moldova and Ukraine.
