In Bizet’s famous opera, she sings her sensual Habanera and lures Don José into her world. He gives up everything to follow her. But Carmen’s wandering eye has already found a new lover: the dashing bullfighter Escamillo.

Don José’s jealousy is fierce. Escamillo’s passion is strong. In a gripping finale, Carmen must face her fate.

We say…'Whatever.’

Whether the century has already had its 21^st birthday or whether it’s just in its twenty-first year, we’re going to mark it with a celebration of contemporary poetry. Whatever!

‘In the late 20th century and early 21st century, the word, “whatever” became a sentence in its own right’, rules Wikipedia , itself a child of the new millennium, founded in 2001.

For us the sentence reads, ‘WHATEVER is a program of diverse contemporary poetry, challenging, comforting, serious, frivolous…Whatever.’
